Pure Vs Hybrid
Well I have seen alot of hybrid dervishes in my time, and it always seems they have a screaming weakness, but pure dervishes seem to have plenty of strength. So I decided I would get my fellow dervishes opinions on this. Pure? or Hybrid? I did this for this class since it seems to be the only class that may just be at its absolute best pure. So vote away
my vote:
/pure

So far, I haven't used any secondary skills at all. I chose necro as my secondary, but I'll probably change to monk just for rebirth.
So I vote hybrid only because I don't see much of a reason not to bring rebirth instead of a signet.

dervish can function on its own, but it only gets better if you effectively use a secondary... wild blow - mystic sweep - eremites - protectors strike... Anet please don't nerf attack chains =(

Protectors strike would be even better if you could use strength as D/W lol. Did a W/D with scythe and protectors strike...ownage. I have D/N for plague touch when you do wearying strike.

Pure derv for me works best for getting through the game. Secondary classes come more in handy for pvp and specialized area's like fow.

Mine is pretty much pure as I am entirely hench/hero and the hard rez is nearly a must.
Like above, my Dervish heroes do very well as a D/W with Wild blow. One is also doing pretty well as a W/E with the conjure <element> enchants. I've got a simple farming build that uses Armor of Earth quite well.
I can not make up my mind which of these builds is best. I haven't tried any others yet. I'm thinking some of the /rit weapon skills will work great with the scythe also. *sigh* just too bad critical strike is the Assassin primary.
